Hanukkah is quite literally around the corner. This year, it is almost three weeks before Christmas, beginning Dec. 6. Decorating for the holiday should be fun and easy as the traditional colors for Hanukkah are blue and white or blue and silver, and creating centerpieces for your dinner table just takes a bit of ingenuity and imagination.
Flowers are always an obvious way to go, and there are many combinations of blooms that say “Hanukkah” just beautifully. White lilies and blue tulips are lovely together, and pair nicely with a silver container or vase to make a Hanukkah centerpiece that the whole family will love.
For something a bit more elegant, try putting some white roses and other winter flowers together with some silver candles to give a warm glow to your table – as well as a bit of classy appeal. For something more unique, try a silver basket with blue and white glimmering balls piled on top of each other.
Several blue hydrangeas placed in a silver container make a delightful décor option, or pair hydrangea with some sweet white daisies for a nice contrast. Add silver candles and you have a centerpiece that is sure to wow your family and guests.
